Unlike many fantasy shows where the hero starts with a strong or a already a over power character, however in this anime follows Rudd. what i like this story is simple but also a shocking at a same time and that twist makes it memorable. Also each episode shows his struggle with fear, hunger to gain power and for some viewers that he disgust of consuming monsters, yet slowly building his strength. This approach gives the anime a darker, more realistic tone compared to typical “power fantasy” titles. while I watching anime, its better to read his manga or webtoon.

However many viewers appreciate the originality of the concept, saying it feels fresh compared to the usual isekai or fantasy plots! They enjoy watching Rudd slow growth and the psychological weight of his choices. The gritty atmosphere, strong music and emotional themes also help the anime stand out.
