I genuinely enjoy Classroom of the Elite because it’s not a typical high school anime, but it thrives on psychological battles, manipulation and strategy rather than simple slice-of-life drama. What I like most is how the show constantly challenges the viewer to think about human nature, trust and survival in a competitive environment. Ayanokoji’s clam, almost emotionless approach to every situation makes him fascinating, especially when his hidden intelligence and White Room background slowly come to light.

The tension between characters like Horikita, who is growing into a capable leader and kushida, who thrives on deceit, adds a layers of intrigue that keep the story unpredictable. However, one thing I don’t always enjoy is the pacing. Sometimes the exam and dialogue heavy episodes feel stretched and the animation quality can be inconsistent compared to other top-tire series. Still, the clever writing, mind games and constant suspense outweigh those flaws. But overall, it’s a series that rewards patience and attention, offering a unique mix of mystery, strategy and character growth that makes it stand out in the crowded anime landscape.
